Having served in the “Nail Industry” for 6 years, Elaine has had a fair share of the “Hand Job”……. or should we say “Finger Job”? She tells us some of her encounters.
During her tenure, some customers made things difficult for her by complaining about her painting skills or even the colour used. Oh my, how does Elaine react to such situations?
“I will talk to them nicely, telling them that the colour is the most popular one and is new arrival. You sure you want to change them?” laughed Elaine. “I have guys who want to paint all his nails in black and white, plus the Louis Vuitton Logo. Really made my eyes blur after everything is done.”
Elaine is currently embarking her new career into hair styling and make up. However, she is still at the infant stage. Who knows she might be the next big thing who will be styling for hot celebrities out there.
What kind of food you like the most?
There are plenty of foods that I like. I can’t possibly rank them in order but I really love Laksa, ma la steamboat, golden mushroom, ajisen ramen, Japanese curry rice, garlic prawn pasta from coffee club and fish and chips!
What do you do for leisure?
Haha, I spend most of my time sleeping. I do meet up with frends for tea at orchard. Going to KTV and shopping is a must for me.

When a friend tells me something which is ‘not real’. I will go “Huh! Really ah?!” Afterwhich, everyone will laugh at me. One instance was “Do you know why the Government always do road block?”. I will answered “No idea, why huh?”. My friend would said “They never use the machine for a long time. If never utilise them, the machine will spoil”. Then I go “Huh, Really huh!?” Lols..
What are you like as a girlfriend?
Hmmm.... as a girlfriend, I’m someone who is not very affectionate, especially in the public. Like some couples who like to kiss and hug in the public, I am not into this stuff. If I am really serious about the relationship, I will spend as much time as possible with him. However, I will be affected by my boyfriend if he is happy, angry or upset.

Hmm, personally nope. However, I made a police report once. A guy followed me from the MRT to the bus stop, subsequently, to my void deck. He was filming my back with his camera. At the void deck, he came over n grabbed my backside! I reported to police when I reached home. 3 police cars and 6 officers came and took my statement... scary..
What do you do to relax?
Listening to music, stroking my dog’s fur, playing with my Nintendo ds, n word search puzzles

Both! I appreciate good food. So long the food is nice, I don’t mind hawker centre

What were the most romantic things a guy has done for you?
Wow, you are not going to believe this. This guy parked his car in the middle of a large field, at marina south, just opposite the Esplanade and Fullerton. The place where TCS does the filming. I was so romantic as he tied many balloons on top and the back of his MPV. When he opened the car boot, there were so many ‘Stitch’ from the Disney Movie, “Lilo n Stitch”. There was also a bouquet of roses, plus a laptop playing slideshows of our pictures. The music at the background, the nice scenery and ambience is the most romantic thing I ever received!!! But I got a lot of mosquitoes bites too!
