Belumni Guest Critique
With several years of media experience which includes acting for TV, short films, corporate videos, TVC; modelling for photoshoots, printads, editorials & advertorials; I've also sung at events, guest appearing to sing at a music showcase, and am able to host. Not only am I not (camera) shy, I enjoy media works as it offers me a channel to push my limits and provide some form of excitement for perhaps nothing else very much can excite me like a rollercoaster ride or the business that I started dabbling in some years ago. ;)
Rather than mention the usual boring bimbotic hobbies (think shopping, fashion & blah blah blah), I enjoy sports such as rollerblading, cycling, swimming & am just short of obtaining my diving certs, also exercises such as advanced yoga & pilates. And guys, I am game to almost all kinds of ball games. I'd run along kicking the soccer ball, play basketball, volleyball & even golf (except that I hate the sun), and catch the World Cup. ^.^
I am (proud) Singaporean Chinese though some people tend to question my somewhat Pan-Asian look. As I dislike the bad attitude 'prima-donna' act, I am sometimes too friendly, simple & humble that I am faced with unreasonable situations.
However, as the saying goes, 'do not judge a book by its cover', I've the tendency to react adversely to the unethicals, and I'm effectively bilingual (English & Mandarin) and can also understand basic Teochew, Hokkien, Cantonese & Malay.
Other than being 'useful' in advertorials & editorials (if required to write/ offer opinions), my critical thinking abilities have earned me a MSc in Mgt on top of my initial Engineering background which led me to start my business. Do check out www.adba.com.sg or 'like' AdbA on facebook for updates (exploring alternative energy for sustainability reasons - to reduce global warming & carbon emission).
Above all my 'little' achievements, I would like to thank all who have been supportive of the every little thing that I have done, as I strive to do better & for the better. Beyond all that I'm currently doing, I would like to do my little bit for the Earth as I believe that no single effort is too small for a BIG change. I make a deliberate effort to switch off all lights at office/ home/ wherever I am, for an hour on every last Saturday in the month of March as an observance to the Earth Hour. Will you do the same? =)
Cheers, Clara
