Zoe - "I believe mistakes make one grow and understand"
What do you do when you tripped and fell while running after a bus? You take up driving lesson and hope that someday, you will be driving your own car instead of chasing after the bus again? This week's BELUMNI babe, Zoe Raymond, tells us about her experience.
“I was running after a bus with my mom and tripped. I suffered a bad sprain on my ankle. The swell was so bad that I could not fit into my sandals. To make thing worse, I have a Fashion Show just 2 days away. In the end, I visit the Chinese Sinseh and had acupuncture in order to recover in time for the show.”
Learning driving to avoid the fall? Well, Zoe encountered a bad experience with driving too.
“A guy was stalking behind me. I am not sure how long had he been stalking me but he followed me all the way until I entered the driving school. I thought everything would end once I boarded my car but he stalked me in his vehicle too. He even blasted the horn at me to seek my attention.”

Are you Singapore Citizen or PR?
I am a Singaporean. My dad is Indo.
What are you currently busy with these days?
I am busy with school and I am having exams on 23rd!
So what you going to do after your school?
I am planning to join Singapore Airline. I do not want to be desk strapped at 20!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
That’s 25. I see myself with a stable income and marriage should be on the cards!
Are you a "career woman" or a "family lady"?
Definitely a family lady! But I would strive to put a balance between work and family.
If given a chance to turn back time, to when and why?
I don’t think I will want to turn back time. People want to turn back time because there is something in life that they regret. However, I believe mistakes make one grow and understand. Life cannot always be perfect.
What was the naughtiest thing that you have ever done?
haha! No idea. Can’t think of anything!
What was the worst pick up line you have ever heard?
“You've got very nice hair! Which stylist do you go to! I'd like to recommend it to my cousin that’s coming to Singapore!”
When I replied him, he proceed to ask for my msn and contact.
What kind of guy attracts you?
Tall and nice body! Nice physic! hahaha
