What are your thoughts when Belumni approached you to do a cover story?
I feel honoured. With all the beautiful girls they feature, I’m certainly glad to be part of the beautiful family belumni has!
What are you currently busy with?
I'm a full time model now. Busy with castings and photo shoots! Also working on a few of the businesses I have in mind. Sometimes I can't keep up with my head man!
What do you hope to achieve in 5 years time?
Now that I just turned 19, its no doubt I’ve taken life more seriously. In 5 years, I hope to have my business established. Also, hopefully to appear on a few magazine covers. I'm giving my business about 3 years to open up and then I’d like to retire by the time I’m 23. Then with God's will, have a family!
So which covers have you grace so far?
So far I haven't graced any magazine covers yet, Belumni shall be my first step. I'll work really hard to succeed. I had stints in Disney Channel and Kids Central, so I have graced your television! Now its time for the magazines!
What was your childhood dream?
To be a businesswoman and a model, and that's where I am now. I'm a really driven lady.
Tell us a secret about yourself.
Hmm a secret? I thought a secret's not mean to be told! Heehee, well here goes..... I always thought I’m not traditional. But I figured that I am, in a lot of ways. I’m actually based in Singapore and Malaysia. I’ve been back for almost a week now, and I haven't left the house to hang out with my friends! I even missed Wavehouse's Fresh Springbreak party on Saturday!
If you can turn back time, to when and why?
I don't believe in regretting anything in life. Take every experience and learn from it. So, I don’t want to turn back time.
Have you ever been stalked?
Haha. I’d love to say no... but yes!
From the MRT station at orchard, to the west where I stay, till the interchange where I had to catch a bus, the girl was still there. I thought it was coincidental. When I realized it, I swiftly walked to the cab line to grab one and she ran for me. In the end, the only thing she said was, "Hi, my name is ******. I'm really your fan. I vote for you everyday. Can I have your signature please?"
Guess what? She asked to sign at her chest, and her diary. Well I got a big hug from her afterwards. That was a really great experience. The girl was following the series of the online competition iTalentstar and I was Ms Glamour. She was such a avid fan of it!
What is one item you cannot leave house without it?
My D&G encrusted watch, Tiffany's bracelet and ring! That’s what I wear every single day since I got it as a gift from someone special! Trust me; I think I might be able to leave without my cellphone. Ok nevermind! Just add that to the list! So that makes it 4 things!
What was the most unique pick up lines you ever heard?
Something that stays with me is this... "Hmm, yea we could go over to my place. Its better, got the PS3 and everything there. So it won’t be so boring...." and that got me going. It caught my attention. I’m a videogame freak, and toy collector kinda girl.
