Shandy - "I’m a sunshine girl!"

A fearless lady who actually has a fetish for snakes and spiders. This week's BELUMNI Babe, Shandy, tells us her most frightening experience during one of her studio shoot.

“My first studio shoot was with a prestigious tiko peh (Perverted Old Man). As I was still a newbie, I knew nothing about him and go along with that shoot. It was agreed upon that would be a fashion shoot but I was subsequently forced to change into more and more revealing clothes. I was really scared that he might hurt me in the studio and I comply with his demand. I was down to just my bra and a piece of dubious looking cloth. I never worked with that photographer again. I had also warned many other new girls about this particular guy.”

BELUMNI would really love to reveal this tiko peh but then again, we are afraid to receive any defamation law suit case against us. Shandy is here to share with us her most embarrassing moment too.

“Once, I was chilling out with my friends. As the time passed, my bladder grew heavier and heavier but there was no toilet in sight. It finally got so bad that I pee in my LEVIS Jeans. I had to lie to my friends that I sat on cat’s urine.”

What are you currently busy with?
I am currently working as a Cosmetics Promoter with Fasio, and the supervisor just won’t let me off. I just got my break after so long but since I agreed to the job,  I can’t really complain? Can I? Help? I won’t complain if she raises my pay *evil grins

If given a choice, will you still take this career path?
Unfortunately, yes. I’m so damn poor now. I need to support myself and 2 dogs. And it pays me quite well if I ignore the 'ill-treatment' Modelling full-time is not stable, I need a job I can depend on.

What are some of the challenges you face in your daily task?
Waking up for work and constant attacks of pimples on face. Standing 7hours a day has made me really lethargic and I am losing the will to be punctual for work. I need a better alarm clock. And, zits just won’t let me off. They've been bugging me for years! Other than these, I’m a sunshine girl.

What will you do today if there is no tomorrow?
SLAP MY SUPERVISOR! Then have a quiet gathering with all my loved ones. Call up all my haters; try to resolve all the big hoo ha between us. And thank my parents for all great stuffs they've given me.

What kind of pick up lines work for you?
None? I don’t like pick-up lines. They're like catered for people who just want to play. If you want to know me, just tell me sincerely. Not telling me 156 times that I look hot in a night =)

Will you run away from home with someone you really love?
Can I come back after I ran away? This is so hard. Yes? Maybe? I dont know. Okay no. My family they know me TOOOO well, if they know that guy isn’t good for me, then he isn’t. And they are always right! I hate it when they predict the future of my relationship. Because they are so damn accurate. So, NO. I will stick to my family =)

What are your thoughts when Belumni approached you to do a cover story?
“Hai, another scam?” Eventually, after seeing his web, I know its nothing close to being a scam. Feel kind of happy and honoured.
